Everything was as it should be. And the host was absolutely wonderful.
A fabulous stay at The View. The property is clean, comfortable and very well equipped. Thank you to our hosts for the goodie basket and for the milk to make that much needed cuppa on arrival. As the name suggests there are far reaching views right out to the coast. A great base to explore coast and countryside, ticked five more Kent Castles off our list. Faversham and Rochester are great to explore and don't miss the rather large second hand bookshop Baggins Book Bazaar in Rochester. All in all a lovely stay in Kent.
So comfortable, didnt want for anything. Especially loved the goodies Lloyd left out for us! Great location to explore Kent, right off the main road but you wouldnt know it.
The steps to the property were loose and need resetting. The cottage was clean, well presented, full stocked and a nice welcome pack.bathroom was clean, both taps were dripping but this was attended to by the owner. Bedroom door dragged on the carpet so needs adjusting. We are pensioners so have all the expected aches and pains so the mattress was not particularly comfortable for us. Good parking. Centrally located for Canterbury, Faversham and Whitstable all worth visiting. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay.
The View is small but very comfortably furnished and well equipped for one or two people. A great deal of thoughtfulness was evident in the provisions that were left for us to use including tea, coffee, biscuits, crisps, loo rolls, soap and towels. The heating, when needed, was responsive and effective. Adjacent driveway parking was well provided. There is a lovely open view across fields. We used Tesco in Faversham to buy food as needed. We would certainly come again.

This was our second visit to The View this year and we were very satisfied again. The View is very well presented and well stocked with everything you would need for a successful stay. The hosts are very friendly and the cottage is in an excellent location for exploring Kent.
We spent a lovely week at The View. The View is an apt name as it proved a splendid view to wake up to in the morning of beautiful Kent countryside. Thank you Lloyd for being so helpful with our last minute mattress issue, he acted promptly and addressed our concerns, communication was good and the abode was equipped for an enjoyable time. Everything was as described in the literature and photographs.

Very friendly and helpful such a nice peaceful place
We really enjoyed, our stay at the View, lived up to its name, with the countryside around us. The grounds were pleasant , to sit out in the evening. Accommodation, was very comfortable, all you need for your stay. Lloyd the owner was friendly, and approachable if we had needed him. Easy Access to places of interest, on the coast. We had a great time. Thankyou again Carol & Alan

The View lives up to its name, excellent location ideally placed for touring Kent. The cottage itself is very well maintained and has everything you could possibly need for a short stay, with an added bonus of a very comfortable bed. The hosts are ideal, very friendly but not intrusive. Overall an excellent property that we intend to visit again.
Great for a short break, clean and well equipped.
What a gem. We were looking for a base for a week in Kent and The View was perfect. Easy to find and with good transport links deeper into the county this was ideal for our needs. The setting is great with far reaching views over fields. The property was clean and well maintained with everything we needed for our stay. All the furniture is comfortable and the bed gave us the best sleep we've ever experienced in a holiday cottage. The owners are very friendly but don't intrude unless approached and when we raised one very minor issue it was resolved immediately. We'd definitely like to return and spend more time at The View.
Lovely stay. Helpful owners next door.Clean and well stocked. No washing machine and some furnishings a little dated .. also not enough plug sockets in the loungeold type multi socket and difficult to access behind the tv.Nice for a few days stay and comfortable big bed.
The cottage has been beautifully converted, decorated and appointed and is very comfortable to stay in. It has everything one needs for a holiday, although manuals for the oven and dishwasher would have been helpful for us older less techie types! The bed is extremely comfortable, there were plenty of lovely towels and we appreciated the recycling bin and the classy bathroom toiletries. The road noise would I think spoil use of the outside space, but as it was October and the noise was barely audible inside, this wasn't a problem for us. Faversham is a very attractive town and it was a great base for us to visit family in Dartford and local attractions by train as well as car.
Lovely clean apartment ideal for visiting surrounding area. Close to major road so noisy if you were sitting outside.
Lissie
Perfect stay at this lovely cottage. Has everything you need and more. Very convenient to get to visit different areas of Kent & Faversham is a lovely town. Would love to return in the future.
The view is in a great location, we reached most places from Chatham to Dover, Margate and sevenoaks under an hour, the view provides everything for self catering, also a cupboard with games and books. we had a lovely welcome with a box of treats from Lloyd, who lived in the main property, plenty of household supplies, lovely towels and a comfy bed, good wifi, also the use of lovely garden furniture and barbecue, Everything was perfect for us
A pleasant and comfortable stay. Well equipped with everything we needed and the bed was very comfy. There is some traffic noise which can be heard from outside, but not from inside the cottage. The view is fabulous and the owners were lovely. I would definitely recommend to others.

The owner was away on holiday when we were there his parents were looking after ... The owner was away on holiday when we were there his parents were looking after the property we did not say anything to them but we found the property to be dirty and in need of a good clean
Sandra
Very comfortable and well equipped accommodation. Great location to explore North Kent and the coastline. Lovely view across the fields that could be enjoyed whilst relaxing on the outdoor furniture. Really enjoyed our stay.
Great property very quiet inside , lovely view across fields to sea , good location , amazing value for money. Would highly recommend the owner was very welcoming thanks Brett & Liz
Robert
A very wellequipped and comfortable cottage, ideally situated for exploring the towns and villages of north Kent
The View ticks all the boxes for an excellent place to stay. Great bed, all mod cons and a smart tv together with a generous welcome pack of a bottle of wine and assorted nibbles. The location being a bit over an hour by car from Heathrow makes it an ideal venue to start or finish a holiday. We really enjoyed out stay.
The View is a lovely place to stay. The owners clearly go to a lot of trouble to create a warm and welcoming environment. It is a great base for visiting Faversham and the north Kent coast, also good access to the M2. We would highly recommend it and would happily stay again.
