The Kings Vista Reviews

Anthony
The flat was fine, comfortable and has a good outlook but toiletshower room too small particularly if 4 people stay. The quick repair of a leaky tap was very impressive. However the first impression was poor, the entrance hall smells, is poorly decorated and not cleaned with rubbish around the floor area all week. Even though we had a parking permit with the flat, car parking was difficult all week and no guidance is given on how to deal with this on arrival. The many bus stops outside the flat were convenient but the noise level was high late into the evening. In spite of the problems we enjoyed our week but will not return nor recommend

This is a very well presented accommodation. Clean and well equipped with comfortable furniture and most important of all a very comfortable bed, plenty of towels and a very nice welcome package. Great location with the beach across the road and right at the top of the high street. Yes there is some street noise as you would expect but certainly nothing that would put me off booking again if available. As one other person mentioned re Key Safe box, 8 attempts on entry and 2 on leaving! . May I suggest highlighting on the map the parking areas that the permit can be used. I did have had some worries about being able to find a parking spot in such a busy town but pleased to it was not an issue. Certainly enjoyed our stay.
Louise
The property location was excellent close to everything and literally 1 minute to cross over the road and we were on the beach and in the sea. The beds were comfortable and the property was equipped with everything we needed. The property is quite compact in the main living area smaller than I normally book but it worked and was done to a high standard with slightly smaller furniture in the living area so everything fits. We used the washerdryer a couple of times which was really handy, especially when beach towels etc need a refresh towards the end of the holiday. The fridge was a little small and we struggled to fit everything in it at the start of the holiday just after our food shop and some foods were touching the back of the fridge and freezing. We noticed a few cup rings on the side tables which were probably outside the owners control, but it is a shame as the furniture is nice quality and the owner provides plently of mats and coasters which me and my children used all the time to protect surfaces. The bathroom was small but nicely done but the small unit in there was starting to rust a little, this didnt at all detract but may need replacing in the future. Although street parking is very busy around the area the parking pass was a real deal breaker and I did manage to find parking reasonably easily everytime we went out and came back. I did book some back up parking just in case as Im aware of times when all parking is taken, but I didnt need to use it. The welcome pack was a wonderful surprise and very much appreciated thankyou. The only thing that possibly could be improved at the property is the blinds. It has beautiful white slat wooden blinds, clearly very extensive, however these are really heavy to pull up when it's hot and you want to open the windows, it also looks like previous guests have tangled up or shortened some of the cords so they are very high to reach. Also they don't provide blackout and as soon as dawn arrives 5pm onwards the light streams in through the slats and sides, so my children in the double room at the front were awake too early and towards the end of the holiday we had to swap rooms and put them in the double at the back which was a little more shaded. The downside of such a central location was that there was quite a lot of noise on some evenings from revellers on the sea front but also from the pub at the back, but because we'd had such busy full days we managed to shut it out and slept OK and it's to be expected in such a prime location. All In all it's a good holiday home done to a high standard and the location absolutely makes it. Thanks for a nice stay.
Excellent Location! ! Clean, comfortable and well appointed! This was my second stay here and I would not hesitate to rebook for my next trip!
Wonderful apartment and the little hamper and milk was a welcome gift upon arrival.

Brilliant location so central. Very nicely furnished and comfortable flat. We did have problems with leaving the key in the outside safe. Maybe it was just us!
