Overall we had a lovely stay at Beach View. The owners try to think of everything to make your holiday as good as possible. Just a few hiccups perhaps the owners not aware of. Door to dining room rattles when closed, the main bedroom door wouldnt close. The back gate was locked and we couldnt open it . In an emergency this is a fire escape. These issues didnt spoil a lovely holiday. Thank you

Lovely holiday home which was extremely clean on our arrival. Comfortable and well equipped. Great view from the balcony and we were lucky to be able to sit out in late September. Would be good if there was some discount for just 2 people staying if booking on a last minute basis. Enjoyed our stay and definitely hope to visit again. Thank You.
We had the best time. The accommodation had everything you needed and was well thought through. The sofas and beds were so comfy. The location and view from the balcony was a highlight. We swam and used our paddleboard every day on the beach across the road. There is even a hose in the back garden to wash everything down. We were in a great location to explore the local area and there is a lidl just down the road. The holiday blues have set in now we are back home.
We stayed here 2yrs ago, and its good to see it is being looked after as its been recently redecorated and a few new touches and changes. The balcony over looking Smallmouth beach is just excellent, we spent hours looking over to Portland enjoying our view. We didnt use any of the cooking facilities but all looked great and a new airfryer. We will be hopefully booking again, thank you for a lovely stay!

Another lovely stay at Beach View House. Thank you to the owners. There is everything you could think of in the kitchen and the property is well equipped including loads of coat hangers in the wardrobes. The property was very clean and tidy. We had fantastic weather so spent a lot of time in the sea. We will definitely be booking again.
The property is in a wonderful location, amazingly well equipped and attractively furnished. Some points the lighting in the lounge is very poor, too dim to read, and the seating is not very comfortable. The windows were VERY dirty!.
Super property and well situated for various trips by car or local transport. A pumpfailure on the shower was instantly dealt with and the property was left immaculate after the job was done. Well done to Sykes and Dream Cottages
A lovely house, nice welcome pack and with everything you need to feel at home. Good selection of games too and dvds. It is in a great location, especially if you want to pop for a swim in the sea right in front of the house or just look out on it from the comfort of the balcony. Lovely walks along the coast from there too.

We were walking the coastal path so the location was fantastic for us as the path literally goes past the property. We also loved the proximity of the beach and a daily swim was very welcome. The excellent Crab House Cafe is also within easy walking distance which we used a couple of times. The property is extremely well equipped. We cooked a few meals during our stay and lacked for nothing, we even found a couple of pizza trays. It is maintained to a very high standard and we appreciated the area outside the back door for sitting in the sunshine and drying off our walking gear.
Very comfortable and well appointed house in great location with stunning views over Chesil beach, Portland Bill and Weymouth bay from the balcony and the main bedroom. Excellent bus service into Weymouth and to Portland. Close to shops and a pub and caf. Well worth another visit.

We had a GREAT weekend! We can definitely recommend this accommodation! Thank you for a wonderful bank holiday weekend! The accommodation was exactly as per the photos decor was beautiful and cleanliness was very good. The Beach View House is SO well equipped. We had everything we needed and more! It is in a perfect location easy access to the beach and to Weymouth Town Centre on the foot path that runs along the coast yet peaceful and serene! We visited Weymouth Town Centre and Portland Lighthouse. Recommendations lap blankets in the lounge for the evenings better instructions for hot water settings and recommend that the WIFI password is retyped as 1 word and not with the spaces between as it is misleading.

We had a lovely week in a really comfy house. The best stocked holiday home we have ever stayed in. I loved the subtle purple shades of the decor. A quiet spot but with plenty to watch on the beach, sea and Portland. A great little beach on the doorstep, safe for children, and sheltered. Thank you.

Had a lovely stay at Beach View house September 2024. Plenty of room for 4 adults and a baby. House well equipped and very toddler friendly with a well stocked toy box and plenty of books and cuddly toys in single bedroom. Beds very comfy. Quiet location. Walked to local restaurant Billy Winters. Shops and take away restaurants not really walkable for us. Tesco express short drive away and well stocked. My daughter and I loved swimming in the sea. Sealife Centre in Weymouth was a great day out followed by pub lunch at Brewers Fayre. Plenty to do. Might stay longer next time.

We had a wonderful stay at beach view house. The location was excellent with a great view of the beach from the second floor balcony. The house was close to Weymouth and also to Portland which was very convenient. The house had easy access to the nearby beach, and was also within short walking distance of Wild Chesil Centre. Beach view house also had a great selection of movies on DVDs which was great. Parking and WiFi were both good. The only thing was that the bathroom lock was faulty. Overall, it was a great property, and I honestly feel the photos don't do the view and surrounding location enough justice! If you are staying here, I would recommend going to the Portland Bill, to the nearby RSPBs, Durdle door, and Lyme Regis.

We had such a lovely stay at the Beach House, the view really is something special looking over Chessil Beach, Portland and Smallmouth Beach. The property has everything you would possibly need already in it, lovely lounge space, nice dinning table and fully equipped kitchen, except dishwasher, which wasn't an issue for us. Great outdoor back closed off space with table and chairs, the beds were all very comfy, ample storage space, nice sized family bathroom. The best about this property would have to be the balcony from the master bedroom. We sat there every day, come rain or shine. Specific parking spot provided, however plenty of parking front of house also. Lovely quiet housing estate. We will 100 be booking again and can't wait to come back, we have visited Weymouth for over 45yrs and as always never disappoints.
Great property and location view to die for. On a good bus route walking distance to Tescos. Daniels fish and chips shop highly recommend. Rib ride to Jurassic coast 35 worth every penny. It just needs a lamp in the corner next to the sofa.
Super holiday here yet again. Everything so clean . Extremely comfortable beds . Fully equipped kitchen . Cannot fault ! Highly recommend. Beach outside a real plus . Lots to do from doorstep. My 90 year old parents enjoyed the views from the balcony and watching the cruise ships over at Portland Port . We will be back!

Well after a 6 hour drive to get there I was not happy at all to find that the ... Well after a 6 hour drive to get there I was not happy at all to find that the Key safe was wide open with the number still set up and to find the key still in the door for anyone to walk in I had to go straight in to see if anyone was in there or had anything been taken from the house which was lucky all was okay so I took the door key with me untill the left the house itself was great perfect place to see Weymouth great beach outside the front door and a short walk into Weymouth loved the view of Portland from the bedroom window and to be able to relax on the Balcony in the morning it was a great place to stay I hope to go back again maybe next year who knows well recommended
We had a fantastic stay at Beach View House. Communication and flexibility of the owners was excellent, thank you. The house is in a great location with immediate access to the sandy, safe, small beach. This made it so easy to go for a swim and be able to walk back for a shower. The footpath outside the house is very accessible, great for walking into Weymouth or cycling. We enjoyed the nearby gardens, castle ruins and cafe. The house itself is well equipped with everything needed for a comfortable stay.
A lovely house with stunning views and direct access to a lovely beach perfect for families. The weather was awful but the views from the balcony made up for it and the house was well equipped including a cupboard full of games perfect for the rainy days! Really wonderful stay, would love to return one day.
The rubbish from the previous guest was left in doorway by cleanernot the best site when you open the front door! House is in a great positionthis was our second visitwe would consider it again next year.

The owners of this property have obviously gone above and beyond to make sure their guests have everything they need for a really good holiday. That is besides the absolutely glorious view. Wow what a gem of a house stay in for our new year break over looking the bay with views of Portland Perfectly positioned for walks into Weymouth and Portland. The house was very clean and had everything we needed, the beds were comfy it was like being home from home. Well definitely be booking again

Loved this property and beautiful location. It had everything we needed to use for our holiday base. Loved the little beach right on the doorstep and the balcony facing the sea, which we spent several evenings sat out looking out at the view. Very calming and pleasant house to come back to after busy days on our various excursions.
