4 Country View Park Reviews

A great and very comfortable place to stay and use a base to explore the beautiful Kent countryside. Excellent facilities and good value for money.
Catriona
Such a beautiful comfortable lodge. The owners were so helpful. They left an amazing welcome pack. The Lodge had everything we needed and more. Really looking forward to visiting again.
An absolutely fantastic place to stay in a great quiet location. The lodge was so well equipped and comfortable. Prior to our arrival the owner made contact to give us new directions to follow as some roads had been closed for repairs. The welcome pack he provided was everything you would need including some home made scones.
We had a lovely time at Country View Park in Kent. Have stayed in a few cottages over the past few years, but this has to be the best welcome pack yet! As well as the food and drink goodies, the lodge had all the facilities we needed for a relaxing and enjoyable break, and was an excellent base to explore the many attractions that Kent has to offer. Highly recommended.

No.4 Country View Park is definitely a very well equipped and superbly decorated 5 star lodge located in a quiet and peaceful location on a small, private and very well cared for site. David and Bridget are excellent hosts and their hospitality is second to none. Even though the weather wasnt very kind we had a great week and visited local towns like Faversham, Whitstable, Herne Bay, Margate, Broadstairs, Ramsgate, Deal and of course the lovely city of Canterbury with its spectacular cathedral. Eat out or eat in whatever is your preference but the Chinese takeaway in Seasalter comes highly recommended. We wouldnt hesitate to stay here again when next holidaying in Kent.
This is a lovely property in a quiet and superb setting. It was immaculate and extremely well equipped. We were also provided with a huge amount of goodies on arrival including homemade scones, clotted cream, jam and fresh strawberries to name but a few items. The host David was very communicative and everything was easy. Id certainly recommend this property to others.
I had the most wonderful week away at Country View. Right from the moment I arrived it felt like home. The lodge was super comfy, very well equipped with everything you could ever need and little extra touches made my stay extra special. Location was peaceful with excellent views and walkable to the beach! What else could you need? My hosts were incredibly friendly and helpful from before to after my stay and I'll definitely be booking a return visit!
Great communication and directions. Thanks for the welcome pack. Really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!
Our secord visit! The lodge is situated in a very quiet location ideally suited as a base for exploring the countryside of east Kent, historic Canterbury, the Medway towns and the Isle of Thanet coast. Everything needed for your stay is provided in a very clean and comfortable lodge even including a luxury welcome hamper on arrival.
Lovely place to stay very peaceful and secure. Hosts were very friendly and helpful. Lovely welcome pack on arrival.
Excellent lodge with great location for exploring that part of Kent. The owner went to great lengths to welcome us including providing tea, coffee, milk, bread, butter, a bottle of wine etc. He also made the effort to inform us all about the property and even what places were worth visiting, which he sent links to. There were also books and games left to pass the evenings. All in all a very enjoyable week.
We found the location very quiet and peaceful. The property was well equipped and had everything we needed. The welcome pack included bread, milk, wine and other goodies. The bed was comfortable. It was a warm week so we did not need the heating but it was there if required. The views across the fields were delightful and we had a nice walk to the Church and a footpath behind it. Faversham, a short drive away, was a good shopping area including Tesco supermarket.
A very nice lodge, well equipped and in a great location to visit the local area. Great communication from the owners making it a very enjoyable week.
Superb accommodation and all as listed. Fantastic welcome pack and prearrival communication from owners. Great place to stay to explore this part of Kent.
Robert
An outstanding property and a wonderful welcome pack. Very comfortable and filled with everything that any guest could possibly need for a great stay. David and Bridget are extremely welcoming and helpful.
We stayed at the lodge over Christmas in 2024 there was a very large and delicious welcome pack waiting for us which we enjoyed very much. The lodge has everything you could possibly want or need for your stay, beds are comfortable.and all rooms were clean and tastefully decorated and furnished. Very good base to visit places in the Kent area. This was our second stay the first was in the summer months so the lodge is a good place to stay at any time of the year
Robert
We found the property very clean and comfortable. It was situated in a quiet spot. The owner welcomed us with a food hamper which was unexpected and very generous. However the only down side were the showers, the en suite was too small and the showers were temperamental, going hot and cold, possibly due to the boiler. We would recommend that electric showers are fitted as we found the current ones unsafe.
This Lodge is in a lovely, very rural location but it has good access to all main routes covering Canterbury, the N & NE Kent coast. We found it to be a very comfortable & well equipped with good quality bedding & towels and plenty of hot water. Fans were provided for when it was hot but as it got colder it was easy to heat so felt very cosy. The only thing to note is that the bedrooms are very small, they had plenty of wardrobe space but floor space was very limited, especially around the bed in the second room. There is a nice outside space with seating provided which unfortunately due to the weather we were unable to make use of. There was good safe parking but not right outside the property. The whole development looked neat and well cared for and we had a good weeks holiday.
Immaculately presented very clean and very well appointed lodge in a quiet location. Very comfortable for a very relaxing stay. A wonderful welcome pack was provided which is probably the best welcome pack weve had over many years of renting holiday cottages.
Andrew
Good location and nice property, liked the extras. Was a bit surprised to no washing machine, but had a dish washer, which we never use.As we pack as light as possible we always do washing when away.We had to go and buy a clothes airer and wash bits by hand.Did find the ensuite shower quite cramped, and smallest bed to small. It is an extremely hot property, and was thankful for the fans provided. There was a problem most evenings and a couple of times in early hours of morning 4.50 am we was woke up by nearby dogs howling and barking !! Also the the internet needed rebooting 7 to 8 times every evening, which was a bit annoying.
The lodge was super clean and the welcome goodies was extremely thoughtful. It's set in a beautiful setting too. I gave 4 instead of 5 for comfort, only because my husband and I are quite small but found that the second bed which we had to use because the master room was used by my disabled friend, was a little small. I understand that there isn't much you can do about it given the room. I would still recommend the lodge to friends and have already done so.
George
We had a wonderful week and felt really relaxed. The lodge was very comfortable and contained all that we needed plus lots of extras. We would certainly consider staying there again as it is also in a good position for the places we wanted to visit in Kent.
Very well equipped, clean and cozy lodge set in a rural quiet area. Welcome pack was amazing and very much appreciated. Ideal location for visiting various places of interest and walking.
This was a very comfortable lodge in a lovely peaceful setting. The beds were very comfortable.Although the shower cubicle was small, the shower itself was excellent. The lodge was very well equiped with a lavish welcome pack! We enjoyed our week in the Kent countryside.
Very welcoming comfortable home from home. Telephone call before very informative and helpful. Beautiful setting and views.
Stanley
This is an extremely well equipped lodge which is spacious warm and comfortable. The views around the lodge are very good and provide a nice backdrop when sitting outside in the evening. The owners, David and Bridget, are very helpful and go out of their way to ensure that you have a pleasant stay. We thoroughly recommend this lodge as a great place to visit the coastal towns and villages nearby.
Steven
We had a last minute two night stay at 4 Country View Park. We found it very welcoming and relaxing. I look forward to returning in 2024. Great hosts !
Excellent property in a quiet location but conveniently located for easy access to the facilities which Whitstable had to offer. Particularly impressed with the welcome pack. David and Bridget contacted us in person a week or so before our arrival to explain how to find the property and tell us the eateries and shops in the area which was most useful. The property is really well located to access the attractions in Kent with places such as Leeds Castle, Canterbury, Dover Castle, Herne Bay and Margate to name but a few, all being in an easy driving distance on good roads. Would certainly look to use this property again if we were to holiday in the area in the future. Thanks for being a big part in a great stay.
Wow everything was perfect even the weather Would definitely recommend
A lovely comfortable lodge in a great location to be able to explore Kent. The information provided prior to arrival was greatly appreciated and the 5 star welcome package was a lovely suprise. Thank you for a great week.
We really enjoyed our stay. The arrival instructions and call from David were very clear and helpful. The lodge has everything one needs for a comfortable stay. The welcome pack, full of local Kent goodies, was an unexpected, lovely surprise. Thank you David and Bridget!
Elaine
Lovely lodge, really homely and clean. The beds were comfortable, lots of towels and a really well equipped kitchen. The welcome pack was the best we have ever had, five star. The decking and outside of lodge could do with painting. Couldn't go for a walk from the lodge as the country lanes were to dangerous but could get to places in the car fairly quickly. Had a nice relaxing holiday.
Absolutely loved our stay here. The lodge was excellent. Everything was provided and the welcome pack was amazing. Even milk was provided so there was no need to dash out to find somewhere to buy anything! The view was lovely, the area was peaceful and quiet. A short drive to the sea. Wonderful.
Would definately recommend. Well appointed, comfortable property in quiet location with views across the country. Thank you once again for a lovely week.
This lodge is ideal for a very relaxing break as it is situated in a very peaceful countryside location yet within very easy car access of Whitstable, Faversham, Canterbury and all of the Thanet coastal towns.
This was our second stay at the Lodge and once again it was exceptional. All the comforts of home and equipped with everything you could possibly need. The Lodge is in quiet surroundings but near to the town of Faversham offering a friendly warmth from the local people. Also nearby Whitstable, with its independent shops, sea and oysters is a place to visit. The friendliness of the hosts is over and above expectations. The welcome pack is exceptional with a lot of thought put into it. Thank you both so much for everything. I sing your praises to family and friends. See you again.
This lodge is comfortable, clean and well equipped. We enjoyed our stay in the peace and quiet. Thanks very much for the lovely welcome pack and the telephone call prior to our stay with lots of local information. David and Bridget are extremely helpful.
We had a fabulous week in this exceptional lodge. All the comforts of home and more, lots of lovely extra touches towels, dressing gowns, very generous Welcome Pack, fans add to the already stylish comfort of the lodge. Very comfortable beds, 2 bathrooms, a fullyequipped kitchen, all set in a peaceful, rural location but with easy access to all the local places to see. Would highly recommend, a very nice place to stay indeed.
Very comfortable and relaxing property with beautiful views. Good for exploring Kent. Recommend visiting Foodhall near Faversham. Would suggest village pub more for locals
A very well equipped, clean and comfortable lodge in a quiet rural location but with easy access to a wide range of places of interest such as Canterbury, Whitstable , Faversham, etc. Excellent communications from the owners and an extensive and highquality welcome pack added to the enjoyment of the stay. Highly recommended.
